The Northern Ceramic Society Journal

The NCS Journal is published annually, free to members, and features in-depth papers and articles on specialist ceramic topics with the general aim of providing information not previously published elsewhere. The Journal normally contains around 100 pages, and is printed on good quality paper and illustrated in colour. All members are invited to submit material to the Journal Editor for inclusion.

 This is the first  comprehensive survey of underglaze blue painted creamwares and pearlwares of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, and is the product of 20 years of research, which has enabled the author  to group pieces and make or suggest attributions.
