50th Anniversary Meeting
Keele University, Home Farm (Sustainability Hub), opposite the main entrance.
The first meetings programme of the NCS began in September 1972
following on from the inaugural meeting of interested people in March that year.
Keele University Ceramics Summer Schools played an important part in creating
a community of like-minded people and, appropriately, we celebrate at Keele this year.

hosted by Nick Berthoud and Rod Jellicoe,
who join other NCS officers and committee members .
For our pots session there are two themes:
1 A pot or group of pots with a story to tell about NCS members, research or exhibitions.
Come prepared to speak about your pieces or with some information for members to read:
when you register for the meeting , let the secretary know if you would like to make a short presentation.
2 ‘Show and tell’- our regular slot for seeking opinions or showing a good find

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent
Against all the odds, the Majolica Mania exhibition travels to the UK
hosted at the Potteries Museum as the only venue in this country.
With this in mind, we are focusing onthe exhibition subject both for our
lecture and the afternoon’s activities.
